7pm onwards: Free film night at the church! Join us for a screening of 12 Angry Men, the feature length debut of director Sidney Lumet starring Henry Fonda.
On a hot summer’s day in New York City, 12 jurors must decide the fate of an 18 year-old accused of murder. Only a unanimous verdict can find him guilty – and only Juror #8 thinks the boy could be innocent. A taut parable of moral responsibility and prejudice depicting an America on the cusp of great social change, 12 Angry Men is widely regarded as one of the best films ever made.
