If you are looking to hold any activities or events in the centre of Rawtenstall, we have three excellent rooms available for hire. All were refurbished along with the rest of the church in 2017 and are finished to a high standard. We have plenty of tables and chairs that can be laid out according to your needs, fully appointed kitchens upstairs and downstairs and free Wi-Fi. All our rooms are fully disabled accessible.
We have a real mix of room bookings at the church, from educational courses to physical activities, and we're happy to host anything that will benefit the community. Whether you're holding a one-off party or meeting or want to set up a regular class, Rawtenstall Unitarian Church has something for you!
Our Rooms
All you need to know about the spaces available to hire at the church
Small Meeting Room
£10/hr or £8 for non-profits
4.2m x 3.3m approx.
Ideal for meetings or consultations with up to 10 participants. The room holds a large table with chairs and is situated close to the building's public toilets and adjacent to our downstairs kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities.
Main Hall
£15/hr or £10 for non-profits
7.5m x 6.8m approx.
Our Main Hall downstairs is where we hold our Sunday Services and The Unity Fridge on Tuesdays. It is a versatile room that has been used to deliver educational classes and guided yoga in the past, and is currently used for a monthly Councillors' surgery. The room holds lots of chairs and tables which can be rearranged or put away depending on how you would like to use the room. Also contains a large TV screen that can be connected to personal devices to deliver lessons or presentations.
Situated close to the building's public toilets and adjacent to our downstairs kitchenette. Can be accessed by the building's side entrance or front door if you are looking to attract footfall from busy Bank Street!
Pyramid Room
£25/hr or £15 for non-profits
13.7m x 13.9m approx. with 10m x 10m dancefloor and 6 square meter (approx.) stage
Our Pyramid Room upstairs is where we hold Film Nights and Interfaith Services as well as hosting most of our room bookings for yoga, pilates and dance. It is a versatile room ideal for events with lots of attendees or participants - the maximum capacity of the room is around 100 people. The room holds circular and rectangular tables with lots of chairs which can be rearranged or put away according to your needs, as well as another large TV screen which can be connected to personal electronic devices.
This room has an adjoining kitchen with oven, microwave and water heater for hot drinks should you need to provide refreshments for your room booking.
All prices listed are our standard rates and open to discussion. We offer discounted rates for block bookings.
