Film Night - Flee (2021)

7pm onwards: Free film night at the church! Join us for a screening of Flee (2021), a Danish animated documentary that tells the remarkable story of an Afghan refugee forced to flee Kabul after the collapse of the Soviet backed

government. The film provides valuable insight into the precarious journeys made by refugees, their forced relocations still all too common today.

Flee has a 15 BBFC certificate, and approx. running time of 89 minutes. Entry is free (donations to the church are very welcome but do not feel obliged if you cannot afford to) and snacks and drinks will be provided. A discussion will follow the film if you would like to share your thoughts on the film and the issues it explores.
